The conjunction of traffic was common and it was a long awaited demand of citizens. Majority of the commuters has expressed gratitude to Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport, Highway and MSME Minister, for his efforts and making the long awaited dream come true.
An aged man on the subject of anonymity said that it was a demand from last 25 years, as the zigzac road used was too narrow, water tankers traffic from both the side had increased the problems of the residence of the colony. “Now a straight road from Umrer road to Rahate Colony is clear. If everyone drive at a controlled speed there will be no accident,” he said.
Vikas Bunde, Social Worker also echoed that the line to cross the Wanjari Nagar Signal often was 1 km long. The questioned raised about accidents can be rectified, and each one has to be cautious while driving, as responsibility and facility are two sides of the same coin and no one can ignore any of them.
