After drop in cases Nagpur district once again reported more than 1K daily cases of COVID-19 on March 3. Today the district reported 1152 fresh positive cases with 6 deaths. The total number of cases has reached 152812 so far. The tally of deaths due to the virus-borne disease reached to 4357.
As per the official report, out of the total positive cases, 252 were from rural areas and 897 cases from Nagpur city alone.
Meanwhile, from the total deaths, 2 cases were reported from Nagpur city and 1 from rural area while 3 were registered from outside of the city.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 9295 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
With 695 recoveries in the day, the cumulative number of recovered cases rose to 139160 (including 73007 home isolation recoveries). The recovery rate recorded today was 91.07 percent.
Today’s 1152 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
