Vidarbha women thrash Meghalaya by 146 runs

Vidarbha thrashed Meghalaya by huge margin of 146 runs in Senior Women One-Day Cricket Tournament at Chennai on Saturday.
Batting first Vidarbha scored 196 all out in 47.1 overs. After losing S Meshram on duck in the second over opener Vaishnavi Khandkar (54) and Bharti Fulmali (72) made 127 run partnership  for the second wicket. Reena Paul remained not out on 16. For Meghalaya

Daiaka, Ahireeta and L Tamang took two wickets each.

In reply, Meghalaya lost their wickets at regular interval and were bowled out for a paltry 50 runs in 19.1 overs. Only Tamang (20) managed to cross the double digit. For Vidarbha, Nupur Kohale (3 for 5) was the most successful bowlers. She was well supported by Ayushi Thakre (2 for 6) . Captain Komal Zanzad, Wankar, Disha Kasat and Vaishnavi were chipped in with one wicket each.
