Since its very first episode, Zee TV’s popular fiction show Tujhse Hai Raabta has been an audience favourite. Its intriguing plot and relatable characters like Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) and Malhar (Sehban Azim) have kept the viewers at the edge of their seats over the past few years. In fact, KalMa, as they are fondly called, has managed to capture everyone’s hearts with their adorable chemistry and heartwarming love story. Having received so much love and admiration from the audience, the show continues to win hearts and scale new heights. In fact, the show recently completed 700 episodes and they had a small celebration to mark the occasion.
To celebrate this wonderful achievement, the cast and crew members gathered on the sets of the show and had a small cake-cutting ceremony while keeping all the COVID-19 precautionary measures and guidelines in mind. Everyone had a gala time rejoicing the milestone, however, Reem Shaikh and Sehban Azim were seen to be extremely happy and emotional about the show’s latest feat.
Talking about Tujhse Hai Raabta achieving this milestone, Sehban Azim mentioned, “I consider myself really lucky today as we complete 700 episodes of Tujhse Hai Raabta. I am thankful to the makers, the cast, the crew, the writers, and everyone else working on the show. We have worked hard together to enable us to achieve this milestone. I must add that the way Aamir and Sonali Jaffer have characterised Malhar Rane, Kalyani and Anupriya is beautiful. Secondly, though I’m sure every team gives its best when it comes to any TV show but with this team, there’s a ‘Raabta’ that we all have and that’s out of the world. It is like we were meant to be together in a show and I thank God for it. I also wouldn’t have been here if my creative director Yakshi Burathoki didn’t convince me for this show and am so thankful to her. I also have a special message for all our ‘KalMa’ and Raabta fans, ‘You guys are the best and we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this feat without all of you. You guys are one of the best things this show has given me, and you never fail to bring a smile to my face. Thanks for being there no matter what! You guys are love and I’m very thankful and blessed to have received so much love from you guys.‘”
Reem also added, “I really can’t describe what I am feeling right now. I genuinely feel Raabta is a show which has seen many ups and downs, but still, we’ve always stood strong. God has showered his blessings on this show in a special way and hence, we’ve been able to complete 700 episodes with ease and so much love. I must add that Raabta has given me an extended family as well as my best friends, Sehban, Poorva Di, Rajat and Shagun. I have also met some amazingly cool people like Milind Phatak and Savita Taai, who never make me feel like they are as old as my grandparent’s age. I love my team and my producers, Sonali ma’am and Amir sir. Raabta is always going to be a part of me, and I am happy that we’ve been showered with so much love and affection over the past few years.â€
While the cast and crew are ecstatic about this mega milestone, in the upcoming episodes of the show, the Rane family will be seen celebrating Adhik Maas by distributing sweets and gifts.
