As part of the celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) to commemorate the 75th year of India’s Independence a clean India campaign is being carried out in Nagpur and rural areas from October 1 to 31 by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS).
Recently NCC cadets and NYVs volunteers conducted a cleanliness drive in rural and city areas on Nagpur. With a mission to keep our environment and surroundings clean an awareness campaign was also organised where 25 volunteers visited houses and spread the word.

This social activity of the NCC cadets worked together to clean localities of Sitabuldi and Jaffarnagar. The volunteers also spread the message of the disadvantage of single-use plastic and the repercussion on the environment.

Owing to the ongoing pandemic and dengue threats in Nagpur we spreading awareness to people to keep their surroundings clean said Udayvir District Youth Coordinator DYC, NYK Nagpur Division.

Our team is spread in every zone of Nagpur and appealing to people to adapt to the new behavioral change in their lifestyle he added.
