With a view to lifting stagnated water on roads and polluted water in wells during rainy season, Nagpur Municipal Corporation has made arrangements for eight such vehicles worth Rs 1.09 crore in the interest of citizens during emergency situation,
Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner, dedicated these vehicles with the facilities of generator and submersible pump to public on Wednesday by cutting a ribbon at a function held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Administrative Building. One vehicle is deployed at a zone office for providing services to the people during monsoon.
Dipak Kumar Meena, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Ravindra Bhelawe, Mahesh Dhamecha, both Deputy Commissioner, Rajendra Uchake, Chief Fire Officer, and others were present.
