Famed for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma Sunil Holkar dies at the age of 40

At the age of 40, actor & reality star Sunil Holkar of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame passed away. He is survived by his mother, father, wife, and two kids.

His most recent appearance was in the critically acclaimed movie Gosht Eka Paithanichi. According to the news, Sunil has been experiencing liver psoriasis for the past four days. Although he was getting treatment, he tragically passed away on Friday, January 13.

Sunil had come to terms with his impending death and asked a friend to post his last WhatsApp status, in which he wished everyone a heartfelt goodbye. He wanted to express gratitude for the love he received. He asked his friend to post this note on his behalf after expressing regret for all of his errors.

For the unversed, Sunil Holkar worked for many years in Ashok Hande’s Chaurang Natya Sansthan. He was known as an actor and storyteller who worked in theater for more than 12 years.

Earlier, Ghanshyam Nayak, who portrayed Nattu Kaka for many years in “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” died at the age of 76. After a prolonged battle with cancer and chemotherapy, the well-known actor passed away. Asit Kumar Modi, the show’s producer, tweeted a confirmation of the news. “In April, we had a positron emission tomography scanning of his neck, in which again some spots were identified,” Ghanashyam’s son said.

He further added, “He was in no way uncomfortable or in agony. However, we did not want to take any chances, so we resumed his chemotherapy treatments. This treatment is being done at the same hospital and doctor from whom he was earlier. Papa is completely fine, just once a month we take him to the hospital for the session Will get a PET scan done again next month. I hope those spots are gone.”
