ISCCM has granted permission for the commencement of the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) and ISCCM Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (IDCCN) programs at Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre. The hospital’s exemplary 65-bedded Critical Care infrastructure, spread across various disciplines, is widely recognized for the comprehensive care delivered by a qualified hierarchy of specialists from diverse disciplines.
Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre has now announce the commencement of admissions for the 2024 IDCCM and IDCCN programs, accredited by ISCCM. The ISCCM, in its assessment, acknowledged the hospital’s facilities, the volume of critical care patients, multi-speciality critical care management, and infrastructure to run these courses.
Dr. Neha Agrwal, Faculty ISCCM and Critical Care Physician-SMHRC, emphasized, “The aim of these training programs is to enhance the skills of care providers in Critical Care Medicine, standardizing patient care and ensuring quality services. The IDCCM duration is one year for MD/MS/DNB in Medicine, Chest, Anesthesia candidates and two years for DA/DTCD or equivalent candidates, with qualifications from MCI recognized institutes.”
Dr. Seema Singh, Nursing Director- SMHRC, shared insights into the IDCCN program, designed to assist nursing students in developing expertise in Critical Care Nursing. The one-year course is open to GNM/BSc(N)/MSc(Nursing) graduates.
