The thrilling finale of the 7th DRM Challenge Cup Football Tournament 2024-25 witnessed TRS (Traction Rolling Stock) overcoming S&T (Signal and Telecom) with a narrow 1-0 victory. Pradeep Singh’s decisive goal in the 36th minute sealed the championship for TRS.
The event was graced by Chief Guests Shri Vinayak Garg, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Nagpur Division, and Smt. Deepa Garg, President of Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (CRWWO). Present at the occasion were ADRM Shri Rupesh Chandekar and other distinguished officers.
The winning team, TRS, received ₹15,000 along with the championship trophy, while the runners-up, S&T, were awarded ₹10,000 and a trophy. The Chief Guests and other officers commended the players for their spirited performances and highlighted the importance of such tournaments in promoting unity and sportsmanship within the railway community.
Pradeep Singh was named the Final’s Man of the Match for his stellar performance. Other individual honors included:
