The newly released trailer of “Sushila-Sujit”, featuring Swapnil Joshi, Sonali Kulkarni, and Prasad Oak, has taken the audience’s anticipation to the next level. The exciting sequences in the trailer are already receiving an overwhelming response from the film-lovers.
The trailer was launched in a grand ceremony on Tuesday. The trailer highlights the film’s high production values, intense performances, engaging scenes, and gripping dialogues. The movie is set to release on April 18th across theatres.
From the trailer, it’s clear that something exciting and intriguing is in store. The story kicks off with a mother who approaches the police to file a missing person’s report for her son. The police officer questions if there was a fight or argument at home. In another sequence there is a dialogue in the background that the boy has been missing for 35 hours.
Meanwhile, Swapnil Joshi and Sonali Kulkarni are shown trapped in a house, with their phones left outside. They try various methods to escape, such as attempting to open the latch or checking if there’s another exit from the gallery. However, things take a humorous turn when the latch breaks, and a flower pot from the gallery falls on someone’s head. A series of fun and quirky moments unfold.
The protagonist, Swapnil, is also troubled by various worries. Among these, there are tense and entertaining moments where Sonali seems to be tormenting him.
In between, YouTuber Atharv Sudame and leading comic actress Namrata Sambherao appear on screen. They discuss what happens when one gets trapped behind a closed door or when the key is left inside. In one sequence, Amruta Khanvilkar is seen. Swapnil and Sonali, trapped in the building, try to call out to people below, but to no avail. Their attempts to escape lead to some tough situations for their neighbors.
In one sequence, Prasad Oak, believably in the role of a spiritual guru, says, “Don’t go anywhere, come back soon… Mr Nakhate will tell you the future.” This hints at a twist in the story, and it’s clear that Prasad Oak will be seen in a different avatar in this film.
