An audio recording from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has surfaced, revealing that comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada was targeted due to his invitation to actor Salman Khan for its inauguration.
The clip, obtained exclusively by India Today, features Bishnoi gang member Harry Boxer warning that any director, producer, or artist collaborating with Salman will be shot in the chest.
“The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show,” the gangster states.
Salman Khan appeared in the premiere episode of season 3 of *The Great Indian Kapil Show*, which debuted on Netflix on June 21.
Salman has been targeted by Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail, because of his involvement in the 1998 killing of a blackbuck, an animal sacred to the Bishnoi community.
The gangster adds that anyone working with Salman would be accountable for their own death.
“If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them,” he warns.
KAPIL SHARMA’S CAFE ATTACKED FOR 2ND TIME
On Thursday, Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey came under gunfire for the second time in less than a month. At least 25 shots were fired, shattering windows. However, no one was injured in the incident.
Goldy Dhillon, a Bishnoi gang member who is wanted by the Punjab Police and the NIA, claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post.
As per sources, security agencies believe Goldy Dhillon is currently living in Germany. He has multiple cases of extortion and murder registered in Punjab.
The restaurant was also targeted on July 10, for which Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) operative Harjit Singh Laddi, one of India’s most wanted fugitives, had claimed responsibility.
He cited alleged derogatory remarks made by Sharma about Nihang Sikhs for the attack.
