Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, takes immense pride in the achievement of Surmayee Sathe of Class 9D, who represented India at the prestigious Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault, held from 18th to 23rd August, 2025 at the Hainan Haidan Foreign Language School Roland Garros Club, China.
Surmayee competed against some of the finest young players from across the globe, showcasing her skill, dedication, and sporting spirit. With grit and determination, she secured an impressive 24th position in the tournament.
Her participation marks a historic milestone, as she is the first Indian girl from Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, Nagpur, to compete in the Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault.
The Principal, Mrs. Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Purnima Singh, and Co-ordinator, Mrs. Shupriya Apte, mentor, Mr. Ganesh Bagde along with the entire CPS AB family, congratulated Surmayee on this remarkable feat and wished her continued success in her sporting journey.
