Two people of the same family died as their can fell from a bridge into Deena River near Bori village in Gadchiroli district. All the five travellers in the car received serious injuries. All were rushed to a government hospital in Aheri where two of them died.
The Kolpyakwar family were returning after attending funeral of their relative Ravindra Tangadpalliwar, who was murdered on Monday night on Alapalli-Sirocha Highway. After the last rites at Bori the Kolpyakwar family members were returning to Ashti, when their car met with the accident.
Sunil Muralidhar Kolpyakwar (65) and Yadav Kolpyakwar (67) died during treatment at a Hospital in Aheri. Padma Satyanarayan Kolpyakwar (55), Archana Yadav Kolpyakwar (60), and Abhijit Yadav Kolpyakwar (35) were shifted to Chandrapur after basic treatment at Aheri.
Police rushed to the accident site and initiated an enquiry into the incident.
