The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday declared the results of the CA Final Examination held in May 2026, with pass percentages remaining modest across all categories.
A total of 87,497 candidates appeared for the examination, which was conducted at 544 centres in India and abroad. Candidates can access their results through the official ICAI examination portal using their registration and roll numbers. Among the three categories, Group II recorded the highest pass percentage at 20.49 per cent, while Group I registered a pass percentage of 12 per cent. The overall performance reflected the rigorous standards maintained by the Institute.
Noor Singla of Patiala secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 499 marks out of 600, achieving 83.17 per cent. Ritij Saraf of Howrah secured AIR 2 with 475 marks, while Sohan Anil Manjrekar from Dombivli (East) clinched AIR 3 with 473 marks.
Congratulating the successful candidates, ICAI President CA Prasanna Kumar D highlighted the importance of perseverance, dedication and continuous learning in achieving professional success.
“The secret of success lies within you—in your hard work, determination to succeed, resilience in overcoming challenges and ability to stay motivated. As you enter the prestigious Chartered Accountancy profession, uphold the values of integrity, ethics and service to society, and contribute meaningfully to India’s growth and development,” he said.
ICAI also urged newly qualified Chartered Accountants to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics while contributing actively to nation-building through their expertise and commitment.
