The Maharashtra government has extended the last date for submitting applications for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for First-Year Diploma Engineering (Polytechnic) courses from June 22 to July 2, 2026, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil announced.
The extension is aimed at giving aspiring students additional time to complete the admission process. The minister urged applicants not to wait until the final day and advised them to submit their applications well before the revised deadline of July 2 to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays.
