Marking his 75th birthday in a meaningful and socially relevant way, noted businessman and social worker Vilas Kale has launched a unique web series titled “Jeevan Utsav – A Celebration of Life.” The initiative aims to inspire people to lead richer, happier and more meaningful lives through engaging conversations with accomplished personalities from diverse fields.
The web series is built around the idea that while everyone seeks happiness, true fulfilment lies in sustaining that happiness and celebrating life despite its many challenges. Through real-life experiences and insightful discussions, Jeevan Utsav will explore themes such as art, music, theatre, culture, travel, interactions with eminent personalities, personality development, training and spiritual growth.
The inaugural season features a 20-episode series titled “Kisse Mere Anubhavon Ke”, in which veteran broadcaster, radio announcer and compere Kishan Sharma shares fascinating memories and experiences from his long and illustrious career in conversation with Shubhangi Rayalu.
Now 82, Kishan Sharma is a multifaceted personality who served Vividh Bharati for 27 years. He produced and hosted several iconic radio programmes, including Chhaya Geet, Bela Ke Phool and Bhule Bisare Geet, and has interacted with some of India’s most celebrated personalities across literature, music, cinema, politics and public life.
The series recounts his memorable encounters with luminaries such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Raj Kapoor, Kavi Pradeep, Asha Bhosle, Shankar–Jaikishan and Vinoba Bhave, offering viewers rare insights and lesser-known anecdotes from their lives.
The entire series has been filmed at The Buty House Studio at Fortune Mall, Sitabuldi. The production, shooting, editing and post-production have been managed by Aditya Buty and his professional team, ensuring high production quality for the web series.
