The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the registration deadline for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for undergraduate professional courses, including BBA, BMS, BBM, Integrated MBA, BCA and Integrated MCA, for the 2026-27 academic year.
Students can now complete their online registration until 5 pm on July 20, 2026, instead of the earlier deadline of July 16.So far, 48,365 students have registered for these courses, exceeding last year’s total of 44,488 registrations.
This year, following a decision by Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, students who appeared for the PCM and PCB MHT-CET 2026 are also eligible to apply for BBA, BMS, BBM and BCA courses, subject to the prescribed admission rules.
Applicants must complete online registration, upload the required documents and choose either E-Scrutiny (online verification) or Physical Scrutiny (offline verification).
Students opting for E-Scrutiny do not need to visit a verification centre, while those choosing Physical Scrutiny must report to the designated scrutiny centre for document verification.

Online registration and document upload: July 6 to July 20, 2026 (5 pm)
Application verification and confirmation: July 7 to July 21, 2026 (5 pm)Provisional merit list: July 23, 2026
Grievance submission: July 24 to July 26, 2026 (5 pm)
Final merit list: July 28, 2026
The CET for these courses was conducted from April 28 to 30, 2026, with 62,301 candidates appearing for the examination. The results were declared on June 11, 2026.
