CPS, AB’S Martial Artists Qualify For The Nationals

CPS, AB’S MARTIAL ARTISTS QUALIFY FOR THE NATIONALS

Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass’ Martial Artists have excelled at the DSO State level SQAY Martial Arts Championship which was held at Latur from 15th to 17th November 2018.

In the Under 14 girls’ category –
Ekta Metkar bagged a Gold medal in the 39 kg weight category Loba ( fight ) event.

In the Under 14 boys’ category –
Nakul Agrawal was rewarded with a Silver medal in the Open Weight Category Loba event.
Kanav Chandak who represented the School in the 42 kg weight category Loba event put up a commendable display of skills during his matches.

In the Under 17 girls’ category –
Sarah Farooqui won the Gold medal in the Khawankey Sangrae Kata event.

Anushka Sinha clinched the Bronze medal in the Open Weight category Fight event.

In the Under 19 years category –
Prince Kumar Singh became the recipient of a Gold medal in the Khawankey 2 Jodak event.
Moulakshi Gajbhiye won the Silver medal in the Khawankey 2 Jodak Event.

All Gold medalists have qualified for the National Championship which will be held at Delhi for the participants of the Under 14 and 19 categories, and at Amritsar, Punjab for the Martial Artists in the Under 17 years category.

The Martial Artists and their mentors, Mr. Mehboob Ansari and Mr. Pritam Pinjarkar were congratulated by the Principal, Mrs. Radhika Mehra, Vice-Principals, Mrs. Perveen Cassad and Mrs. Anita Sharma, and the staff.
