It was an unexpected treat for the students of St John School on Kingsway, on Saturday, when Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan interacted with them. Mr Bachchan, is in the city for the shoot of his upcoming film Jhund being directed by Nagraj Manjule. Parts of the movie are being shot at St John School.
Addressing the students of the school, Mr Bachchan was all praise for it. He said he was shooting in the school campus for the past few days and there was not a single disturbance, which shows the high-level discipline the school follows, he said.
“Whatever you learn at this stage of life it helps you throughout your life,” he said exhorting them to learn as much as possible here. Recalling the memories of his school life, he said, whatever he learnt during his school days, he is still adopting and following those things.
Jhund is said to based on life of Vijay Barse, who is the founder of Slum Soccers and Big B Bachchan plays the role of a professors in the film.
