ANUBHUTI 2K19– ‘The Youth Festival’

Recently, ANUBHUTI- 2k19- The youth festival of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Deekshabhoomi, successfully concluded with a bang at Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.

All the academic events such as Debate, Case Study, Personality, Quiz and Ad-Making were conducted at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Auditorium, Deekshabhoomi whereas the cultural program involving Dance, Singing, Drama and Fashion Show were held at Dr. VasantraoDeshpande Hall.

Maximum participation from all the prominent colleges of Nagpur made this event a grand success. Around 350 entries were recorded for the event.

Director DAIMSR, Dr. Sudhir Fulzele, Assoicate Director, Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni and Dean Academics, Dr. Ashutosh Paturkar inaugurated the event by lamp lighting ceremony and offering patels to Dr B.R. Ambedkar and Lord Buddha.

Director of the institute, Dr. Sudhir Fulzele, addressed the gathering and congratulated all the students for organizing the event and gave his best wishes for all the future endeavors.

The theme for the event was “Celebrating India” which was wonderfully depicted through drama and Debate by participants who covered social issues.

Eminent personalities of Nagpur were present as judges for various events. Yugal Rayulu judged the Debate competition, Director, Maher Maternity & Nursing Home, Dr. Vaidahi Marathe and Senior Correspondent and Copy Editor, Maharashtra Times, Manjusha Joshi () judged the Personality contest.

They were impressed by the talents of the participants. N.Girish Raju was present to judge the Ad-making, Prof. Sarita Rajesh Karangutkar assessed the participants of case study completion judged. Abhishek Goenka and Awais Sheikh were the judges of the Dance competition,  Producer Tu Tithe Asave and a noted Bollywood Singer GaneshPatil and Bollywood Singer Dhanashree Burbure were the jury for singing, whereas Vir Sarthak Kale was the superjury for Rock band contest. Sanjay Jivne, Anil Joshi and Ruchika Joshi were present to judge the skit and RJ Saurabh  Dr. Vartika Patil were the judges for fashion show. RJ Saurabh also highly appreciated the participants and congratulated the organizing committee for the various activities and for organizing the success of the event.

The event witnessed some of the best performances by the participants, where one such event was Debate. Judge for the debate Mr. Yugal Rayulu said, “This was the Best Debate competition I have witnessed in the past few years.” He also said that he wish to be a student again so as to keep growing his knowledge and enjoying as opposed to his present situation.

Fashion Show was another such event which had the theme of Celebrating India. A 6 year old girl walking the ramp as a participant with one team was the cynosure of all the eyes.

City Premier College grabbed the Best College trophy with maximum number of winners from the same.

The event also witnessed some of the most mesmerizing performances by students in the form of dance and singing. Where students danced on the tune of “Suno gaur se duniyavalo” did full justice to the theme. All the fillers were performed by the students of DAIMSR, which included the Dance number by Bhakti and Team –“Mai tainu samjhava ki”, singing by Rohit & Team on – “piya re piya re….” & Fashion sequence by  Shweta and Team.

Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni (Dean Administration), Dr. Mujahid Siddiqui (IQAC CO-ordinator) and Prof. Anup Dhore distributed the awards and certificate to all the participants and congratulated all the winners.

Prof.Anup Dhore, Prof. Chandresh Chakravorty and Prof. Sushant Waghmare, event coordinators congratulated the junior and the senior heads of the event, who really worked hard to make this event a grand success. A special thanks was given to all the student coordinators of Promotion, I.T, Decoration, Discipline, Welcome, Stage-co-ordination, Fillers, Cultural, Academics and Media-,.they also thanked all the faculty members of the college and a special thanks to Media was also given  for coverage of the event.
