FOGSI organises a CME on “Managing Midlife Aging Gracefully”

Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) Nagpur Obstetrics and Gynecological Society, (NOGS) Indian Menopause Society (IMS) had jointly organized a Continuing Medical Education programme (CME) on “Managing Midlife Aging Gracefully” on March 10, 2019 at Hotel Center Point Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.

At the outset, President NOGS, Dr Kanchan Soirtey, made the welcome introductory speech.

Dr Laxmi Shrikande, presented views on “Fertility in Elderly” and Dr Sadashiv Bhole spoke on “Modern Management of Male Infertility” the session was chaired by Dr Ashwini Uddanwadikar, Dr Raj Bhojwani and Dr Mrudul Chande.

The dignitaries lighted the traditional lamp to mark the CME.

Dr Raju Nagarkatti, Mumbai, in charge FOGSI Committee in Middle Life Ageing, presented his views on “Tackling Osteoporosis” Dr Suvarna Joshi spoke on “Looking beyond Hormonal Replacement Therapy” Dr Rekha Bhiwapurkar Dr Yamini Alsi, Dr.Ankita Kothe, presided over as Chairpersons.

Dr Laxmi Shrikhande presented “Urogynaecological issues of midlife. Dr Shilpa Bhiwapurkar Arya enlightened on “Midlife Health Checklist” Dr Sindhu Bhute, Dr Shobha Gandhi, and Dr Manorama Purwar, chaired this session.

The last session covered a panel discussion on “Challenge of Menopause issues and Solution – Case scenario” and was moderated by Dr Kanchan Sortey and Dr Sheela Jain. Panellist were Dr Ujjwala Deshmukh, Dr. Sutapa Roy, Dr Alka Kumar, Dr Sumeet Baheti, Dr Shantala Bhole, Dr Papiha Bhattacharya, Dr Savita Somalwar

Secretary NOGS, Dr Sushma Deshmukh  proposed the vote of thanks.  CME was largely attended by members of all the associations.
