The most probable Congress candidate from Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency, Nana Patole’s claim that the Paraksh
Ambedkar led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, has been dismissed by the VBA, today.
Patole, a former BJP MP from Bhandara-Gondia who later quit party and joined Congress and was all set to get nomination from party to contest from Nagpur has recently told a private news channel that Ambedkar was supporting his (Congress) candidature. VBA State
secretaries Kushal Meshram and Sagar Dabrase, told a press conference, today that Patole was trying to mislead the voters of Nagpur and unnecessarily defaming VBA.
Both said Ambedkar will soon declare candidate for Nagpur Lok Sabha Constituency..
Ambedkar himself was all set to contest from Solapur
Constituency where Congress is likely to field its stalwart and former Union HomeMinister,SushilKumar Shinde.
