Reshimbagh Guzder ‘B’ division champion

Reshimbagh Gymkhana recorded huge 107-run victory over Nagpur Cricket Academy (NCA) to emerge the champion in Guzder League ‘B’ Division Cricket Tournament organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) at Dr Ambedkar College ground here on Monday.

Reshimbagh Gymkhana won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored a good total of 251 for nine in 50 overs. Siddharth Chandrakar top scored with 63 hitting three boundaries. Siddhesh Dandewar too batted well and contributed 51 with the help of one four and five sixes. Significant contribution also came from Gautam Vaidya (40).

For NCA, Tanush Telramani claimed four wickets for 40 runs. Yash Rathod got two for 46.

In reply, NCA lost their wickets at regular interval and were bowled out for 144 in 40.2 overs. Nadeem Sheikh  (34, 5×4, 1×6) and Aman Dehankar  (33, 70b, 6×4) tried their best but didn’t receive much support from other end.

For Reshimbagh spinner Mangesh Joshi (4 for 37) was the pick of the bowlers. Aditya Khilote (3 for 44) also bowled well.
