â€˜Teen Sitare Tees Taraneâ€™, a musical show based on Rafi-Lata-Asha theme was organised by Cherry Berry Live Mumbai, joinly with Sursangam and Meera Nritya Niketan, treated music lovers with an old classic filled with freshness with an excellent repertoire of approx. 30 songs of three Singers. The evening was full of excellent melodies, aptly supported by brilliant musicians.
The show was conceived and presented by Gyaanesh Verma, Surabhi Dhomne and Sachin Dhomne at Scientific Society Hall, on Saturday. The evening began with high notes of Lata Mangeshkarâ€™s â€˜Solah baras ki baali umarâ€™ and continued the roll with â€˜Aey dil-enadanâ€™.
Many super hit compositions like â€˜Inhi logon ne le liya dupatta meraâ€™, â€˜Roz sham aati thiâ€™, â€˜Yeh hai reshami zulfon ka andheraâ€™ by Radhika Pawar and â€˜Woh hain zara khafaa khafaaâ€™ were presentedÂ which left the audience spell bound .
Audience were completely drenched in soulful music and literally swinging to the ageless melodies of Mohammed Rafiâ€™s songs like â€˜Teri galiyon mein na rakhenge kadamâ€™ and â€˜Mujhe kitna pyar hai tumseâ€™.
Zeeshan Shaikh and Gyaanesh Verma sang the romantic hits like â€˜Toote hue khwabon neâ€™, â€˜Raat ke humsafarâ€™, â€˜Maine puchha chand seâ€™, â€˜Ehsaan tera hoga mujh parâ€™ and â€˜Banda parvar thaam lo jigarâ€™.
Duets â€˜Bekhudi mein sanamâ€™, â€˜O mere sona re sona reâ€™, â€˜Jo wada kiya wo nibhana padegaâ€™ and â€˜Ye dil tum bin kahin lagta nahinâ€™ took the audience down the memory lane. â€œGham uthane ke liye mai to jiyeâ€ by Gyaanesh Verma and â€œNigahe Milane ko Jee chahataâ€ received a once more from the audience. Anchor Samir Desai was at his best and connected the theme very well with the music lovers.
Singers Jinash Sheikh, Surabhi Dhomne, Devika Nayar and Gyaanesh Varma rendered the songs beautifully. The accompanying artistes were Mangesh Patle and Vikrant Limje (keyboard), Manoj Vishwakarma (guitar), Amar Shende (violin), Sachin Dhomne (tabla), Vikram Joshi (minor) and Pavan (octapad).
