Choukidar will be sent to Jail after conducting inquiry thunders Rahul Gandhi
Congress president Rahul Gandhi today threatened to send desh ka choukidar Narendra Modi to Prison after conducting an inquiry into murky deal of purchase of fighter aircraft Rafale from France. If UPA comes to power we will duly order a thorough probe and the Choukidar will be put into Jail, Gandhi said in his first public meeting after becoming the President of party at an election campaign.
Reiterating his charges against the Narendra Modi for indulging in corrupt practice in purchase of Rafale aircraft whose original price is Rs 526 crores and Modi purchased for Rs 1600 Crores. He said the documents with Defence Ministry indicate his direct interference in the purchase process. And when the CBI Director wanted to initiate action against corruption deal of Modi, suddenly he was removed from office in the dead of the night. Even after Supreme Court direction to restore Director Alok Varma, he was shunted within five.
Addressing a mammoth election rally here on Thursday,  alleged involvement in Rafale deal will be probed and the “chowkidar” will be behind the bar and a real chowkidar will be kept before the jail.
Renewing the alleged corruption in Rafale deal, the Congress president said that the person who got the contract, Anil Ambani, was bailed out by his brother from the jail recently after the Apex court asked to deposit money  regarding his Rs 45,000-crore debts in banks. “Modi has given a contract to such a person who is a defaulter and have no experience in such business,” he pointed out.
The truth of Rafale deal was disclosed by none other but the President of France Hallonde who said Modi insisted on including Anil Ambani in the Off Set clause.Gandhi said the then Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar was knowing the corruption deal.
Gandhi threw a open challenge to Modi for a live debate on corruption, unemployment and farmers’ issue and sought only 15 minutes times. Why he is afraid of holding a press conference with media, he posed.
Gandhi said his dream was to pass on the monetary benefits to the poor people in the country and after giving much though, the Congress has decided to credit Rs 72,000 in to accounts of poor whose yearly income is less than Rs 12000. He went on to announce that the amount will be deposited in the name of women in the family.
He said before finalising the cash incentives, he had consulted the think tank, top economists in the party and former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan which came out with a figure.Gandhi said the Congress party was doing this for a maintaining a long term relationship with you all for at least 10 to 15 years and not interested the short term
polices of two-three days.He ridiculed Modi on his age factor saying Modi was probably in hurry but we are not at all in hurry.
He recalled that Congress had promised waiving of crop loan to farmers in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh before the State Assembly elections there and within ten days of coming to power in
these three states, we have fulfilled our promise.
Gandhi promised to make Vidarbha an export hub as farmers will be able to export their produce to UK, Japan and China super market. He took a dig on ill treatment meted out to senior BJP leader  LK Advani saying how are you humiliating your guru in politics.
Nagpur Lok Sabha candidate Nana Patole, Ramtek LS nominee Kishore Gajbhiye, former Chief Minister and MPCC president Ashok Chavan, former seven time Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar, former Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal Congres leader Mukul Wasnik, Nitin Raut,, Anees Ahmad, Sunil Kedar,,Ranjeet Deshmukh,  Ashish Deshmukh NCP leader Anil Deshmukh and PRP leader Jogendra Kawade were presenton the occasion.
