The Holi Milan get-together of Saryuparin Brahmin Mahasabha was organised at Jawahar Vidyarthi Lawn, Civil Lines. Bhojpuri songs, dance and folk music were the main attraction of this programme.
Earlier, the programme began with chanting of mantras. International president of the Mahasabha Ramnarayan Mishra in his welcome address said that there is an urgent need to raise the issues of the community from a common platform. He also gave details about various initiatives undertaken to construct a community hall of the Saryuparin Brahmins. Noted singers Rakesh Tiwari, Kusum Pandey, Priyanka Pandey enthralled the audience with their melodious songs.
Sandhya Mishra, a famous singer from Varanasi, was the main attraction of the programme. Bhojpuri songs received huge accolades from all those present on the occasion. Singers also rendered patriotic songs. Shweta Shukla Shelgaonkar conducted the proceedings.
President of VIPR Foundation Mahendra Sharma, Brahman Sena Foundation president Manish Tiwari, general secretary of Sarvabhashiya Parshuram Brahman Mahasabha Trilokinath Sidhra, Manoj Kumar Singh were the special guests. Ramnarayan Mishra, executive president of the Mahasabha Premshankar Dube, Narendra Mishra, senior vice-president Mataprasad Mishra, general secretary Rajeshprasad Pandey, treasurer Ravindra Kumar welcomed the guests with shawl and shrifal. Jaiprakash Dube, Ratneshwar Tiwari, Sanjay Pandey, Jaiprakash Mishra, Brijbhushan Tiwari, Yogesh Samdaraia, Manoj Pandey, Jeevan Shukla, Shailesh Pandey, Keshavkant Tiwari, Brijesh Mishra, Darshana Pandey, Ajay Pandey and others worked hard to make the programme a success.
