Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association is organising a three days Workshop on ‘Entrepreneurship in Organic Nursery & Farming’ on 22nd, 23rd & 25th April 2019 from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm at VIA Auditorium, Udyog Bhawan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
The objective of organising this workshop is to create awareness about organic farming and nursery by using natural methods of farming like crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, mechanical cultivation and other natural methods to maintain the fertility and productivity of the soil.
Dr Nalini Bhoyar, Project Director of ATMA will be the Chief Guest of the workshop.
Eminent speakers will cover the sessions on 22nd April : Session on “Organic Farming & Value Addition by Anant Bhoyar; Session on Marketing of Organic Produce by Hemant Chauhan, former Dept of Agriculture and Session on PGS & Organic Certification Scheme by Laxmikant Padole, Director, NRTDC- Gondkhairy, Nagpur
Second day on 23rd April : Session on “Ecological Rejuvenation Technology†by Dr Lal Singh, Scientist, Ecosystem Division, NEERI, Nagpur; Session on “Cultivating Nursery as a Business†by Om Jajodia, Proprietor, Krishi Kranti Kendra, Nagpur; Session on Skill Development Training Program & Certificate Course by Dr Vachaspati Pande, Sr Scientist RCOF, Nagpur and Session on Organic Community Farming by Rupinder Nanda.
on concluding day, 25th April : Presentation on Banks Schemes for Farmers & Prospective Agri Entrepreneurs by Canara Bank Officials; Success Stories of Successful Organic Farmers by Ashwini Aurangabadkar & Kirti Mangrulkar and participants will share Experience about the workshop.
The registration fees for Members of LEW Rs.300/- (all taxes) and for non members Rs 350/- (all taxes). Special discount of Rs.50/- will be offered to participants, who will register on or before 17th April 2019.
