Olympian shuttler Nikhil Kanetkar inaugurated the Gaikwad Patil International School-SJAN Media Badminton Tournament organised by Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) in association with Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University at Subhedar Hall on Saturday.
Principal of Gaikwad-Patil International School Shabih Chaurasia, acting director of Department of Sports and Physical Education Prof. Atmaram Pande, coordinator of PGTD of Physical Education Dr Madhavi Mardikar, CEO of Gaikwad-Patil International School Anjali Ruben, noted sports organiser Deven Dasture and others were also present on the occasion. SJAN president Kishor Bagde and guests honoured Kanetkar by presenting memento and shawl.
Dr Ram Thakur conducted the proceedings while Suhas Nayse proposed a vote of thanks.
