Utkarsha, Prashant declared best athletes
Jai Athletics Club emerged overall champions with 693 points whereas Utkarsha Lende of Track star and Prashant Lende of Jai Athletics Club were declared best athletes in Nagpur District Senior Athletics Championship that was organised by Nagpur District Athletics Association in association with Dream Planners at RTM Nagpur University track, here on Sunday.
Utkarsha also bagged best sprinter prize whereas Rajesh Nakhare of Jai got best thrower prize. Prashant Lande and Prajakta Godbole (Track Star) were declared as best jumper and best endurance run athlete respectively.
Secretary of Maitri Pariwar Prof. Pramod Pendke was the chief guest of prize distribution function. Noted cosmetologist Bobby Bajaj and NDAA president LR Malviya also shared the dais.
NDAA secretary Dr Sharad Suryavanshi made introductory remarks. Archana Kottewar conducted the proceedings while Ramchandra Wani proposed a vote of thanks.
Ganesh Wani, Himanshu Danyal, nitin Dhabekar, Prof. Buntyprasad Yadav, Dr Vivekanand Singh and Kalyani Khandar welcomed the guests. Coach Ravindra Tong, Sachin Hulke  Amit Thakur, Sunil Kapgate, Kamlesh Hinge, Shriniwas Elke, Dhananjay Kale, Vaishali Chatare and others were also present on the occasion.
