Jayesh, Aadi in jr boys final

Jayesh Kulkarni set up a title clash with Aadi Chitnis in the junior boys event in the ongoing Shivaji Nagar Open Ranking Table Tennis Championship organised under the auspices of Nagpur District Table Tennis Association at Shakti Club TT hall, here on Thursday.

In the first semi-final, Kulkarni turned the tables on Anagh Bhondwe 11-7, 11-6, 11-7, 11-9. He will take on Aadi Chitnis who eliminated Aaditya Hirulkar 11-9, 11-8, 11-5, 11-4.

In junior girls section, Ananya Sakalkale entered the final defeating Isha  Ambhaikar 11-7,11-8,11-6,4-11,11-6. However in the youth girls category semis she went down fighting to  Disha Girdhar 6-11, 4-11, 11-7, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 11-5 in marathon seven game battle. Juhi entered the final defeating Isha Ambhaikar 11-4,11-5,11-8,11-7.

In junior girls section, Jennifer Varghese stormed into the final defeating Disha Girdhar 11-13,8-11,8-11,11-7,11-8,11-8,11-7.

Junior boys semi-final: Jayesh Kulkarni by Anagh Bhondwe 11-7,11-6,11-7,11-9; Aadi Chitnis bt Aadity Hirulkar 11-9,11-8,11-5,11-4 Junior girls semis: Ananya Sakalkale by Isha  Ambhaikar 11-7,11-8,11-6,4-11,11-6.

Youth girls semi-final: Disha Girdhar by Ananya Sakalkale 11-6,11-4,7-11,9-11,11-7,8-11,11-5; Jui Pendharkar bt Isha Ambhaikar 11-4,11-5,11-8,11-7 Junior girls semi-final: Jennifer Varghese bt Disha Girdhar 11-13,8-11,8-11,11-7,11-8,11-8,11-7.
