National athlete of the city Nikita Raut bagged silver medal in 5000 meter race in 69th Maharashtra State Senior Athletics Championship 2019 began in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Nikita clocked 18.01 minutes to finish second.
Nashik athlete Aarti Patil emerged winner clocking 17.57 min. Sangeeta Naik of Mumbai achieved third place with a timing 18.02 minutes.
The officials of Nagpur District Athletics Association have congratulated Nikita on her success.
