City shuttler Rashi Lambe stormed into the finals of mixed doubles event  in the ongoing 1st Maharashtra State Badminton Championship being played at Nanded. In the semi-final, Rashi pairing with Akshan Shetty got the better of Ajeet Kumbhar-Aditi Kale 21-14, 21-10.
Rashi also performed well in singles. In quarter finals she upset second seeded city mate Mrunmayi Saoji in three games 21-17, 13-21, 21-13. However in the semis she lost to Purva Barve 11-21, 20-22. . Rashi Lambe is being coached by International badminton player  Kiran V Makode.
