Candidate Takes Buffalo Ride to File Nomination | Nagpur City News

Its time for polls in state, and all the political parties are in fray to submit their nominations for the electorate. And Narendra Rahangdale, an independent candidate has given a novel touch for submitting nominations. He has arrived on a male buffalo to file nominations in Tiroda Legislative Assembly, indeed a move to attract voters.

As per the election Code of Conduct, the use of an animal in election is a violation of the rule. And an offence of Code of Conduct can be lodged against the person. However, an election officer has stated that there is rule of no animal in election rally, but this rule is not applicable to that animal which is used for transportation.

Narendra Rahangdale, who is the President of Kisan Seva Samiti rode on a male buffalo and took out election rally. Earlier, he was created ripples as he has thrown slippers at vehicle of CM Fadnavis when he had come for a rally in Tiroda. And police had taken action regarding this matter.
