Ambedkar Institute, RCOEM women enter basketball final

Ambedkar Institute, RCOEM Women Enter Basketball Final | Nagpur News

Ambedkar Institute of Management and Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) entered the final in the Inter-College Basketball Tournament for Women organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University at its court on Sunday.

In the semi-finals, Ambedkar Institute of Management defeated MM Architecture Women’s College 44-12 whereas RCOEM downed LAD College 43-34. The final will be played on Monday at 4 p.m.

RESULTS
Semifinals: Ambedkar Institute of Management (Shreya Dandekar 28, Aakansha Paigwar 12) bt MM Architecture Women’s College (Rucha Aurangabadkar 7, Anushree Kaloti 5) 44-12 (20-7, 6-0, 14-4, 4-1);  Ramdeobaba College of Engineering (Siddha Deshmukh 22, Shruti Kela 12) bt LAD Colege (Bhagyashree Kolwadkar 17) 43-34 (17-9, 7-11, 13-8, 6-6).
Quarterfinals: LAD College (Rutuja Rotkar 8, Anuja Deshmukh 5) bt GH Raisoni Engineering (Sailee Harde 6) 19-6 (7-2, 1-2, 10-0, 1-2); Ambedkar Institute of Management (Shreya Dandekar 9, Aakansha Paigwar 8, Medhali Sharma 6) bt YCCE (Shriya Fadnavis 4) 23-6 (10-2, 9-0, 2-2, 2-2); MM Architecture Women’s College (Rucha Aurangabadkar 20) bt City Premier College (Anisha Gupta 6) 22-10 (12-2, 0-2, 6-0, 4-6).
