NDS fined those violating the hygiene

Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) held 29 violators at Jhansi Rani Square, Sitabuldi, as well as at Dhantoli and Dharampeth zones on Friday. The NDS fined the ones who were caught spiting and even spreading trash and garbage all over the clean areas.

Following the directives by Municipal Commissioner, Abhijit Bangar  Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi, Nodal officer of Swachh Bharat, Pradeep Dasarwar, under the direction of Prasad Detective Team Chief Virsen Tambe held many of miscreants who were seen inflicting the area. Around 13 people have been fined for spiting on the signal and in the premises of Jhansi Rani square after which a fine of rupees 3200 has been collected. Similarly, rupees 1300 fine has been collected from the people who were caught littering at a hygienic spot. Single use plastic is already banned it the Maharashtra state, but is seen being used by many vendors in the city. Today the NDS has warned the bouquet sellers to stop selling their items wrapped in the plastic as it violates the rules implemented by the government. If ever caught by the NDS the vendors will be heavily fined and a strict action would be taken against them.
