Sony SAB to fly home 100 fans this New Year! Launches ‘Khushiyon Wala New Year’ Contest to bring families together

This New Year, Sony SAB is giving 100 fans an opportunity to get closer to their families through their exciting Khushiyon wala New Year contest. In line with the channel’s philosophy of spreading the ‘Khushiyon Wali Feeling’, Sony SAB will give return air tickets to 100 fans across the country to present them an opportunity to celebrate this New Year with their families and loved ones.

New Year is the time for new beginnings! And to be able to spend this extremely important time of the year with your loved ones, can truly make it an extremely happy one. To participate in the contest, fans need to share their stories on why they want to be with their families this year through WhatsApp either by text, audio or video message on Whatsapp number +91 7039883366, out of which 100 most compelling stories will be eligible for return air tickets to their home town. Sony SAB’s initiative is also the channel’s way of thanking its fans who have loved and supported all their shows year after year.

Earlier this year Sony SAB launched its new brand proposition ‘Khushiyon Waali Feeling’ which truly reflects the nature of the shows on our channel, to drive this initiative further and to take this philosophy to the fans – Sony SAB will run the on-air contest from 11th December to 25th December 2019. Fans seeking to participate can find more details and T&C of the contest here https://sabtv.com/en_in/.

Hiba Nawab playing the role of Elaichi on Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Per Hain said, “Thank you Sony SAB for this wonderful initiative. For people like me who are away from their families will understand the importance of this campaign, I have been away from my family since the past 2 years and I always wished somehow magically I can be with them to welcome the new year. While I appreciate this effort of spreading khushiyon wali feeling from Sony SAB to the fans, I would also like to wish the team all the best as I am sure they are going to be flooded with entries.”

The beloved Tenali Rama of Sony SAB played by talented Krishna Bharadwaj said, “Due to my professional commitments I had to move to Mumbai from my home Ranchi. They say, home is where the heart is, and it stands true in my case. Be it Diwali, Holi or New Year’s, my family has always come together to celebrate these special occasions and I completely understand the disappointment of not being with your loved ones to add to the festive cheers.

This New Year initiative by Sony SAB is probably what a lot of people like me who are away from their near and dear ones might have asked from their Santa. Sony SAB through their shows have spread smiles, laughter and happiness to all the people  and now it’s time to take this experience to the next level by handing out 100 tickets for the fans. So people who wish to spend the first day of 2020 with the families, should just go ahead and participate in the contest.”

Dev Joshi essaying the role of Baalveer in Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns said, “This time of the year has always been special for me and everyone around. From waiting for winter vacations while at school to enjoying the winter chill holds a special place in my heart. Christmas and New Year period has been a celebration time at school and at home as I still remember my mother and father surprising me with a special gift every year. It has always been my priority to be with my parents and bring in the New Year with them and while I wish to balance my shoot schedule and family commitments at the same time, I wish I could visit Ahmedabad and welcome the new decade with my entire family.”
