Late Smt. Bhanutai Gadkari Inter-school Yogasan Competition 2020 on Jan 18

According to the principles of Yogmurti P.P. Janardanswami, the founder of Janardanswami Yogabhyasi Mandal, various free workshops are conducted for the promotion of yoga. Such as yoga classes for wellness, yoga therapy classes for students, intellectual development classes for students in grades 6 to 8, etc.

To provide effective treatment to the various ailments through Yoga is the motto of Yogabhyasi Mandal, with this message an Inter-school Yogasan Competition 2020 is been organized on January 18 at Yashwant Stadium, Dantoli, Nagpur, from 7 am. Around 15,000 students from 125 schools across Nagpur are expected to participate in the competition.

Since 1992, the Inter-school Yogasan Competition is conducted to instill patience, concentration, and courage among students. In the year 2013, 10,000 students participated in the competition, while 12,000 students participated in the year 2018.

The competition is in the memory of late Bhanutai Gadkari, mother of Nitin Gadkari and disciple of Janardanswami.

Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, will be present in the competition as President. Dr. Nitin Raut, Sunil Kedar, Anil Deshmukh, MP Vikas Mahatme, Mayor Sandeep Joshi, MLA Parinay Phuke, and all the corporators will mark their presence on the day.

Nagpur Education Officer has given proper instructions to all the schools to take part in this competition. The competition will see the participation of NMC schools, CBSE schools, and 3 special schools for disabled children. Participating schools will be presented with huge prizes. Adequate arrangements have been made in the schools to train students for the competition.

Expert yoga teachers from the Mandal are in contact with the schools. All citizens of Nagpur are requested to attend this competition and encourage the students performing yoga.

The public of Nagpur are requested to be a part of this program which aims to offer Yoga as lifestyle to the school children so as to impart veracious silhouette to their lives, thereby brightening and strengthening the future of the country.
