The counting of votes for MLC by-polls in Yavatmal took place on Tuesday. In which Dushyant Chaturvedi of Shiv Sena has emerged as the winner with 298 votes. Chaturvedi is the candidate of Maha Vikas Aghadi.
Chaturvedi gave a tough competition to BJP’s Sumit Bajoria who received 185 votes only and defeated him with a big margin.
The pooling was held on January 31. The counting of votes began at 8 am at Bachat Bhavan.
A tough fight was expected between Shiv Sena’s Dushyant Chaturvedi and BJP’s Sumit Bajoria.
