The 21st Bharat Rang Mahotsav annual theatre festival organised by the National School of Drama (NSD) is bringing a collection of plays for theatre lovers in the city giving them a treat to enjoy plays in multiple languages at the Sai Hall.
On Wednesday February 12 a play “Live Nukes” was presented by The Central Scrutinizers, USA group. The classical silent comedy play was about how the two idiots who worked in a nuclear facility accidently launched a nuclear weapon, and their chase through metaphorical and literal Hell to stop it from destroying everything.
The pair portrayed by Kevin Duvall and Taylor Brewerton gave a classic performance with their silent comedy play. Both the actors perfectly portrayed their chase to stop the catastrophic incident from happening.
With just the moment of hands and legs, acrobatics, rocket chases, scat-jazz gibberish, and inter-dimensional travel, without the use of props, a set, or even words the writers and directors created a perfect concept of storytelling which mesmerized the audience.
