Parth and Krish score massive tons

Parth Ghode and Krish Bhati were in top form for their respective schools in the Boys U-14 Nagpur leg of Mumbai Indians Junior Cricket Tournament on Monday.

Parth Ghode missed a double hundred by five runs but his impressive knock led Bhavan’s BP Vidyamandir to a huge 314-run win over CDS School.

Ghode scored 195 in 133 balls to help Bhavan’s amass an imposing total of 357/3 in 40 overs. Arnav Sinha did the finishing act with an unbeaten 60. In response, CDS School were bowled out for 43 runs in 26.5 overs.

Krish Bhati was the star in a huge win. Bhati scored 152 in just 94 balls to help his school score an emphatic total of 577/4 in 38 overs, which included penalty runs. Sanskar Chavate carried on from where Bhati had left to finish with a flourish. He finished with an unbeaten 121.

GH Raisoni School batsmen were never in the game and they could hardly put up a fight, getting skittled out for 54/10 in 13.1 overs.

In another match,  Centre Point School, Katol Road came up with an excellent bowling performance to bowl out Shree Convent School for 23 in 12.3 overs and cruise to a ten-wicket victory.

Shamit Bundela of Centre Point delivered three maiden overs and grabbed three wickets for just five runs to emerge ‘Player of the Match’.

St. Merry’s Ground

Bhavan’s BP Vidyamandir 357/3 in 40 overs (Parth Ghode 195, Arnav Sinha 60*) beat CDS School 43/10 in 26.5 overs, by 314 runs.

Bhavan’s BP Vidyamandir 84/3 in 7.2 overs (Harsh Mirchandani 51, Shikhar Randhir 23*) beat New English School 82/10 in 24.5 overs, by 7 wickets.

MSCA

Centre Point School (Wardhaman Nagar) 75/6 in 18.3 overs (Ranbeer Munghate 26, Raghav Agrawal 8) beat The South Public School 73/10 in 21.2 overs, by 4 wickets.

Player of the Match: Ranbeer Munghate of Centre Point School (Wardhaman Nagar) for scoring 26(57) and 3 wickets.

Gurunanak Ground

Centre Point School (Dabha) 95/2 in 13.5 overs (Addhyan Rauthan 33*, Rajvansh Agrawal 23) beat The Swaminarayan School 91/10 in 37 overs, by 8 wickets.

Player of the Match: Aditya Bhargava of Centre Point School (Dabha)- 8 overs- 1 maiden- 28 runs- 5 wickets.

Tayawade Ground

Somalwar High School & Jr. College 132/4 in 30.5 overs (Sahil Panke 52*, Yash Kitkale 27) beat Bhavan’s BP Vidyamandir 128/10 in 31.1 overs, by 6 wickets.
