In order to prevent infection of covid-19 epidemic in Nagpur division of Central Railway, COVID-19 prevention gears and bed roll vending kiosks facility will now be available for passengers at Nagpur railway station and eight other ailway stations under Nagpur division,. This agreement has been accepted under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Somesh Kumar under covid – 19 Innovative Earnings Contract for Corona Epidemic Prevention .
This is the first contract of its kind by central railway to prevent the community spread of the virus . This will be an important passenger facility that rail passengers can use during travel.
Mesers Medicare Solutions, Pune will install these eight prevention gears at Nagpur, Ajni, Wardha Sevagram, Dhamangaon, Chandrapur, Balharsha and Betul railway stations.
The covid-19 restrictive gears include bed roll vending kiosks with PPE kit, mask, face Shield, Gloves, Sanitizer Bottle, Bed Roll, Kovid Kit etc.
Currently the special trains running, does not have the facility of bed roll. The sale of bed roll through the kiosk which will be sold from Rs 100 to Rs 200 is important for the convenience of the rail passenger.
This initiative is expected to generate a revenue of four lakh rupees annually under non-fair revenue to Central Railway, Nagpur Division as license fees. A formal contract was signed today between the railway officers of Nagpur division and the company’s management, Medicare Solutions, Pune.

Deora Kovid, Department of Commerce of Central Railway, Nagpur Division – 19 is the fifth innovative contract to stop the epidemic.
