Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, where he was being treated for COVID-19, after a 23-day stay on Sunday. The 77-year-old actor announced on July 11 that he had tested positive for the virus and was in the hospital with his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan.
Big B through a tweet informed about the news â€œT 3613 – I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. Grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers & duas of near & dear & friends fans EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this dayâ€.
While Abhishek Bachan had to be kept under observation in the hospital the actor tweeted about it â€œI, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. Iâ€™ll beat this and come back healthier! Promiseâ€.
