The continuous rise in the coronavirus cases in Nagpur has thrown normal life out of gear. Despite issuing all necessary steps to control the spread of the virus there seems no end to the pandemic in the city. The COVID-19 tally in Nagpur on Friday increased to 26094 after it reported 1329 fresh covid cases in the day.
With 42 more people succumbing to the viral infection, the toll rose to 946. From the total deaths 715 deaths from the city and 138 from rural and rest 93 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
A total of 1092 patients were given discharge during the day, taking the count of recovered cases in the city to 15,855 including 6245 home isolation recoveries.
Nagpur now has 9293 active cases. The recovery rate of orange city after today’s recovery is 60.76%.
A total of 5763 asymptomatic cases have been advised for home quarantine or self isolation.
Today’s 1329 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
IGGMC (22), GMC (112), AIIMS (33), NEERI (18), MAFSU (76), Private Lab (436) and Antigen (632).
