Our personality defects make us stressed; we can overcome stress using the personality defect removal process

‘‘The quest for sustained  happiness  and peace cannot be  purchased as it is earned through lifelong dedicated efforts for self-improvement through regular Personality Defect Removal (PDR), sattvik lifestyle and spiritual practice under the guidance of an evolved spiritual guide. However, if one sincerely practices  Spirituality as per universal principles then it will only be a matter of time before one is able to transcend  the mind and obtain the experience of the Soul or the God Principle within each of us. This is the experience of Bliss, a  superlative  form of  happiness,  which is not dependent on anything.’’ These were the concluding words by Dr. Nandini Samant  as she  summed up  her  presentation ‘Finding peace of mind in a stressful world’ in the webinar. The webinar  was organised  by the South Asian Medical Students Association (SAMSA). It was held on 1st November, 2020 between 6 pm to 8 pm. The webinar was hosted by Dr. Shriya Saha, a mentor and the treasurer at SAMSA.

Dr. Nandini Samant presented the research on ‘Finding peace of mind’ by H. H. (Dr.) Jayant Athavale. H. H. Dr. Samant began by giving an overview of why we get stressed. Then she explained the PDR process and how to use it to overcome the undesirable traits also known as personality defects and  turn them into qualities.  She then explained how Spirituality and a sattvik lifestyle helps in reducing stress. The case studies  that  she  shared  gave the  participants  a fair idea  of how  PDR  can be used to bring a complete turnaround in life.

The webinar was very well  received.  A  total of 1168 people  from 14 countries and  24 states of India registered for the event. The webinar  was  available on  both  Zoom  and Youtube  live  platforms.
