Not just number of new COVID-19 cases is reducing, the number of deaths and active cases is also witnessing drop in Nagpur district. However, with people stepping out for Diwali shopping, they may be inviting trouble.
On November 9, the second capital of the state registered 205 COVID-19 cases taking the cumulative number to 10,5145.
In the day 10 people succmbed to the infection taking the total of fatality to 3480 From the total deaths 2458 deaths from the city and 583 from rural and rest 439 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3203 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also 325 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 98462 (including 55523 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.64%.
Today’s 205 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
