A team of Income Tax department raided the residence of former Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh. The search operation is being carried out simultaneously in Nagpur, Mumbai and Pune.
Some documents, computers and other material were seized by Income Tax team, for further examination.
Deshmukh is facing charges of money laundering and corruption. Search operations at premises relating to his business, educational institutions are being carried out continuously during the last few days.
His personal assistant, who was arrested, during his tenure as minister, has been suspended by the government.
