Mining crypto currency is a difficult task as it is not everone’s cup of tea, however the brother-sister duo built a profitable business out of mining crypto currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum during their summer breaks, when most children simply play and relax.
Ishaan Thakkar (14) and his sister Aanya Thakkar (9) constructed an enterprise throughout their summer breaks a time when most youngsters merely play and chill out.
Residing in Texas in the US, Ishaan is a high school freshman aspiring to pursue medicine at UPenn while Aanya is fourth-grade primary school student hoping to study medicine at the University of New York.
When Ishaan and his sister first began mining Bitcoin, they earned $3 per month and in no time, they found themselves earning nearly $1,000 per month. He credits YouTube and the internet for teaching him how to do this.
Ishaan and Aanya took it a step further by founding their new mining company Flifer Technologies in April 2021 and also expanded their range of quality processors.
The duo presently has over 97 processors, allowing them to execute over 10 million algorithms every second, and their expected income is estimated to be over Rs 27 lakh ($36,000), according to data from September. Ishaan and Aanya are hoping that the proceeds will also help them pay for their college tuition.
Because they wish to be environmentally sustainable, they employ “100% renewable energy†for the mining process. Ishaan recently explained to a US news channel, “Crypto mining is just like mining for gold or diamonds…Instead of using shovels, you mine with computers. Instead of finding a piece of gold or a diamond in the mine, you find a cryptocurrencyâ€
