The first glimpse of Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR was dropped online today. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film will release in theatres on January 7, 2022.
The 45-second-long teaser gives us a glimpse of what the film is all about. The extravagant visuals and the grandeur are visible in every frame.
The team of RRR have planned to hold multiple events across cities in the coming months. The first event was planned in Mumbai. The director had planned to unveil the first glimpse on Friday. However, due to the untimely demise of Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar, the makers of RRR decided to postpone the release.
The film will release in multiple languages across the world. RRR is a fictional tale based on the lives of freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively.
Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, RRR will star Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Alison Doody. RRR’s shooting and release were postponed multiple times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
