“Investing in nutritious food is a guarantee not only for us but also for the health of the next generation,” said Dr. Pratima Shastri (President, Apanga Mahila Bal Vikas Sanstha) while interacting with Sakhi Sanjeevani Club members.
She explained the importance of diet, how to have a balanced diet, the side effects of junk food and how to avoid it, what are empty calories, and related information by giving daily examples, and resolving members’ doubts.
Dr. Shastri also informed the members about the objectives and activities of Ashadeep Health Nutrition Center of Apanga Mahila Bal Vikas Sanstha, and shared the E- booklet “Multi grains- A road to wellness” with the members .The event was organised by Mrs. Kalpana Meshram, President of Sakhi Sanjeevani Club and project coordinator Dr. Ambade.
