For the third consecutive day Nagpur district reported more then ten positive cases in last 24 hours. Today, 12 new cases were registered in Nagpur district and only 7 recoveries were reported. Among all the 12 cases, 8 positive cases were detected in the city. Two cases were recorded and two from the rural area and from outside the district each.
With today’s addition of cases, the cumulative positives cases reached 493860. Of the cumulative cases 6926 are from outside the district. Although no deaths have been reported the steep rise in cases is a cause of concern. The Cumulative COVID-19 death count remained 10,122.
So far 483629 persons have recovered from the virus borne disease. With the sudden spike un cases, the Covid recovery rate of Nagpur district droped to 97.93%. With today’s addition the number of active cases goes up to 109 from 104 yesterday, in Nagpur district.
